We seek a proactive, resourceful Virtual Assistant to join our client’s recruitment team. As a Therapist Recruiter, your primary responsibility will be identifying, engaging, and recruiting licensed 1099 physical, occupational, and speech therapists and therapy assistants to join the client’s platform. Your efforts will focus on marketing a unique value proposition and helping the client grow their therapist base in multiple Texas cities.

This role is remote, and you will work closely with the leadership team to meet recruitment goals. Tools, resources, and support, including email lists, marketing materials, and ad copy will be provided to assist you in your efforts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Identify and recruit licensed 1099 physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and therapy assistants.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Use innovative strategies and resources to market the benefits of working with the client, highlighting the flexibility, control, and back-office support offered to therapists.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with potential therapist candidates, addressing their concerns and answering questions about the platform and work model.
  • City-Based Focus: Focus on recruiting therapists in specific Texas cities, with a goal of onboarding at least five new contract therapists in each discipline (PT, OT, SLP) per month.
  • Utilize Provided Resources: Leverage company-provided resources, such as email lists, ad copy, and marketing strategies, while applying your resourcefulness to expand outreach efforts.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screenings to ensure candidates meet licensing and credentialing requirements.
  • Reporting & Tracking: Track recruitment efforts, document candidate interactions, and report progress to the management team.

  • Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar role (healthcare recruitment experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to effectively engage potential candidates.
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.
  • Creative thinker who can utilize various strategies to connect with candidates.
  • Familiarity with home health or therapy services is advantageous but optional.
  • Basic understanding of 1099 contractor models and independent work.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using email marketing, CRM tools, social media, and other online recruitment methods.
