About the role
We have an exciting role as a National Operations Support – Transitions for our Customer Onboarding process within our Managed Services Division, Wasteflex.
The key focus of the role is to manage and be accountable for the Customer on-boarding process. The role is crucial for the success of meeting all customer and stakeholder expectations via a detailed project planning process.
This role will proactively partner with new and existing service providers (subcontractors & suppliers), and internal stake holders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers during the onboarding process.
- Build and maintain positive relationships, ensuring customer needs are understood and addressed.
- Guide new customers through the onboarding journey, including account setup, service scheduling, and site assessments.
- Explain service agreements, pricing structures, and company policies.
- Address customer questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate the delivery and installation of waste collection equipment (e.g., bins, skips, compactors).
- Ensure operational teams are aligned with customer requirements and deadlines.
- Accurately input customer details, service agreements, and schedules into the CRM system.
- Maintain and update customer records to reflect changes in services.
Experience:
- Proven track record in subcontractors/supplier management and coordination
- Experience in similar roles (where planning was essential to customer success)
- Strong Microsoft office skills (MS Excel)
- Waste industry experience highly desirable
Skills:
- High level oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to establish own work priorities and manage time effectively, whilst remaining flexible to respond to changing needs in a busy environment.
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills incorporating the ability to liaise and consult effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Action orientated, with strong time management and organisational skills.
