Are you a seasoned Travel Sales Consultant with expertise in Africa, North/Central/Latin American destinations and Oceania?Join our team at Hayes & Jarvis, where you’ll be selling a premium, unforgettable product. We’re looking for a motivated individual to become part of our sales team. This is a remote position based in the UK!
As our Travel Sales Consultant, you will get to know our guests’ travel dreams and understand what makes them tick, and from there, create a tailor-made proposal based on their personal interests and your first-hand knowledge and travel experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you love talking about travel and enjoy planning trips and making travel dreams come true! Your goal is to generate sales and ensure all guests return home having had an enchanting travel experience which exceeded their expectations, and thus motivates them to return as our guests again.

What you will be doing:
- Developing, growing, and leading your own sales pipeline by delivering excellent customer service to repeat bookers and new enquiries. Establishing rapport and identifying our guest’s needs are key objectives to closing the sale.
- Follow up on incoming and existing enquiries with our guests, primarily over the phone, in order to have detailed conversations to establish their travel preferences and build important relationships.
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and high-quality itineraries, reflecting the guest’s interests, and selecting the most appropriate flights, accommodations, and excursions.
- Use a variety of sales techniques and communication methods to convert bookings.
- Administration duties required to complete bookings and itinerary.
What we are looking for:
- Previous travel industry, sales or customer service experience with international people.
- Must have some travel experience/product knowledge of African or American destinations.
- The highest level of tenacity, curiosity, and strong work ethic.
- Experience working closely with high-end guests to create tailor-made trips using first-hand knowledge and personal expertise.
- Excellent listening/communication skills and the ability to bring travel experiences to life and build trust.
- Reaching the minimum goal is never enough and you strive to go above and beyond.
- Genuine passion for excellence in customer care.
- Good understanding of the full sales cycle in a consultative approach.
