Traveling Fire Protection Inspector (Remote)

We’re a fire protection service contractor who’s doing a lot of work in the multi-family hotel inspections market. Currently, we have clients who are aquiring properties throughout the country and we need a traveling inspector who can travel to these multi-family & hotel properties to conduct inspections on all fire sprinkler, fire alarm and other fire protection systems. You will then write reports on the status of these systems so our clients can determine how much service, maintenance, and replacement costs will be.

This role is primarily remote but will require you to travel every week, for 1-3 day periods. When you are not traveling you are working from home assisting with inbound sales calls and customer service operations.

What You Will Be Doing

Travel throughout the country to visit client properties

Conduct fire protection inspections and job site walk throughs on all properties

Collaborate with clients, property managers, stake holders on the health and status of existing fire protection systems

Write reports on all inspected sytems

Work remotely, when not traveling

What You Need for this Position

High school diploma or an equal amount of experience

Active NICET 2 or 3 in Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm systems

5+ years of hands-on service, maintenance or inspections of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems

Strong customer service experience

Experience attending business meetings

Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Ability to travel 50% of the time (travel can vary from 1-3 days at a time)
