About the Role

As our (first ever) Turkey Country Coordinator, you will execute and lead our launch, research, outreach and operations in the country, working closely with our NYC & global team. This is a fast-paced “all hands on deck” startup role; be ready to take on all kinds of tasks and responsibilities, and expect to work with a talented, hard working, fast-moving global team. You should be genuinely obsessed with fashion and hungry to make a difference in Turkey and the world. 

Key responsibilities & outcomes

• Within first 15-30 days: Understand company vision and product, map out Turkey’s fashion industry and supply chain, and identify top channels for high quality lead generation.
• Within 30-45 days: Score and evaluate customer leads with research & outreach
• Within 45-60 days: Drive outreach, sales, onboarding and photography.
• Within 3-6 months: Lead expansion of customer base and provide ongoing operational support. Support growth & expansion of Turkey team.
• Foster trust and engagement within our customer base in Turkey.
• Build and shape our global playbooks.
• Shape our software with ongoing feedback & subject matter inputs.

Skills & expectations

• 4-7 yrs of fashion and/or supply chain experience within Turkey at a major fashion brand/retailer, fashion supplier and/or fashion agency.
• Strong knowledge of fashion, textiles, product development and/or production, especially at premium and designer price points.
• Self-motivated super hard worker, driven to have an impact on society.
• Strong working command of the English language and comfort with modern software.
• Based in Istanbul, and excited to travel often to other cities within Turkey

Bonus points if you:

• You have experience with photography and/or videography.
• You’re a curious world citizen with empathy for other countries and cultures.
• You have prior experience working with e-commerce or internet companies.
• You’re an an optimist about the future of Turkey and the future of fashion.
