Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team at AHOY. You will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and other designers to create a seamless design process, ensuring that user needs are met effectively. Requirements

• Design engaging and functional user interfaces for websites and applications
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve designs
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that represent design concepts
• Collaborate with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
• Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product usability
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques to inspire and optimize our designs
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results
• Effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to stakeholders
• Maintain a cohesive brand identity across all digital platforms
• Work closely with the marketing team to design promotional materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
• Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices
• Ability to create responsive designs that adapt to different devices
• Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
