As we aim to enhance our digital presence, we seek a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with Front-End Engineering experience to join our team on a project basis. This role will focus on redesigning our company website, ensuring a user-friendly, visually appealing, technically robust, and secure experience.

Position Overview: The UI/UX Designer with Front-End Engineering experience will be responsible for redesigning the DNS website (https://www.digitalnomadicsolutions.com/). This role requires a deep understanding of user experience design principles, a keen eye for visual design, strong front-end development skills, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern web frameworks such as React.js, Angular, and Vue.js, and will be able to seamlessly blend design aesthetics with technical functionality while ensuring the site’s security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Redesign:

• Lead the complete redesign of the DNS website, focusing on improving user experience, visual appeal, and security.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless experience across devices.

1. UI/UX Design:

• Develop a cohesive design strategy that aligns with DNS’s brand identity, business goals, and security requirements.
• Design intuitive user interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Ensure consistency in design elements, typography, and color schemes throughout the website.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into the design process.

1. Front-End Engineering:

• Translate design mockups into high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end code.
• Use modern web frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js to develop interactive and dynamic website components.
• Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.
• Implement best practices for accessibility and SEO to improve website usability and search engine rankings.
• Integrate security measures into the front-end development process to protect the site from common vulnerabilities.

1. Cybersecurity Integration:

• Ensure security is a core consideration during the design and development process.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement security features such as secure authentication, data encryption, and protection against common web attacks (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices to ensure the website remains secure.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end designs with server-side logic securely.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and timelines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the website supports marketing objectives and campaigns.
• Provide guidance and support to other team members on UI/UX best practices, front-end development techniques, and security considerations.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain documentation of design and development processes, including design specs, coding standards, and security measures.
• Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to stakeholders.
• Track and report on project milestones, ensuring timely delivery of the redesigned website.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Proven experience in redesigning and launching websites, with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks (e.g., React.js, Angular, Vue.js).
• Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, usability principles, accessibility standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Usability Analyst, Google UX Design Certificate) are a plus.
