Job Summary

Amazon Services is looking for a talented and passionate User Experience Designer to join our WebStore business team. We are dedicated to creating a top-tier product that empowers retailers and manufacturers to sell their products seamlessly across various channels. As a User Experience Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing intuitive web applications that enhance the user experience for our clients. Your work will directly impact thousands of retailers and manufacturers by optimizing their multichannel ecommerce operations.

Responsibilities

• Quickly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to conceptualize detailed interaction behaviors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements using data, usability findings, and UCD principles.
• Evaluate and enhance the performance of features through usability testing and analytics interpretation.
• Present design work to internal teams and executives for feedback.
• Contribute to UI design best practices and standards.
• Lead in ecommerce trends, web app design, and UI innovations.

Skills

• 7+ years of industry experience in interaction design for web/software applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in web-based information architecture, usability principles, and design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong online portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex design concepts clearly.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with a customer-centric approach.
• Experience working in agile environments with technical teams on multiple projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS or Flash prototyping is a plus.

Pay Range: $60 – $65 per hour
