User Experience Designer (Remote)

Role Overview: 

We are looking for a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven track record of delivering intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences for WeStock’s product. You will work closely with our development team and other stakeholders to create end-user value, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Brand Voice and Identity: Establish a strong brand voice and identity for WeStock through colors, design elements, and visual storytelling to create customer delight and a positive brand influence.

• User Research: Conduct user journey research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, in collaboration with other team members.

• Information Architecture: Develop and refine information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes to ensure logical flow and ease of use.

• Visual Design: Create high-fidelity mockups and design systems that align with our brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience.

• Interaction Design: Design user interfaces with a focus on interaction patterns and micro-interactions to improve usability and engagement.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.

• Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

• Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows to stakeholders.

• Design Systems: Maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products and platforms.

• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, and apply best practices to your work.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final deliverables.

• Skills:
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
