Our design teams work as an integrated extension of our client’s teams, deeply embedding ourselves into their processes to create seamless, impactful products.

Role Overview

At Koru UX Design, we’re shaping the future of enterprise UX, particularly in healthcare and B2B. We are seeking a UX Researcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work across multiple client projects, and delivers actionable insights that empower exceptional design outcomes.

Location: Remote (India)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute research plans and strategies tailored to client and project needs, collaborating with product teams to recruit representative users.
  • Independently lead complex, multi-phase research efforts across multiple projects, employing diverse methods such as interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, and ethnographic studies to generate actionable insights.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities by analyzing existing data sources (e.g., past research, product analytics, sales feedback, customer success insights, professional services input, and online communities) and conducting new studies as needed.
  • Plan, conduct, and report on usability testing to validate and refine designs and prototypes.
  • Perform UX audits of existing products to uncover pain points and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings to create user personas, flows, journeys, experience maps, storyboards, and task flows that inform the design process.
  • Centralize research findings in a well-organized repository using tools like Dovetail or Userbit, making insights accessible and actionable for both internal and client teams.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure research-driven decisions are effectively integrated into product design and development.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience conducting UX research for digital products, with a focus on qualitative methods.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Data Science, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute user research studies, synthesize findings, and deliver actionable insights that inform design and product strategy.
  • Familiarity with tools like Dovetail, Userbit, or equivalent for organizing and sharing research findings.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using existing data sources (e.g., product analytics, sales feedback) to complement qualitative research.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and leverage research outputs such as personas, journey maps, and task flows to drive design decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences, including clients, product teams, and executives.
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed, fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work hours overlapping with European and US time zones.
  • Experience working in healthcare or B2B domains is a bonus.

Benefits

  • Opportunities for growth and continuous learning (LinkedIn learning & professional trainings).
  • Flexible working hours and remote options.
  • A collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Opportunity for career growth and leadership roles.

Koru UX Design is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
