Ux Designer (Remote)

Description:

• 100% Remote role** Our industry-leading consulting client is seeking a UX Designer.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $90.00 – $100.00/hr W2

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building / working on products that are broad / ambiguous in scope and encompass an e2e experience
• 5+ years of interaction design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people’s needs, plus consideration of how this product will scale. Use appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work.
• 5+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function.
• 5+ years of strategic product thinking with experience in developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company.

Technical skills:

• Strong figma skills
• Strong prototyping / wireframing skills
• Experienced creating design flows that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
• Experienced working with user research to user test and iterate on the prototypes

Ability to work independently

• Creatively solve user problems based on research and product team input
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something concrete
• Design new experiences or layouts that evolve / create consistent visual systems

Someone with strong POV

• Can drive a partnership with product managers, engineers, and researchers to influence product design and user experience
• Actively give and solicit feedback

GenAI background ideal

• If not GenAI, someone with a background in 0–>1 spaces (i.e., design products from ideation to launch)
• Can guide product strategy in ambiguous spaces
• Understands and can communicate industry norms / best practices

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
