Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an UX Designer to join their team! The UX Designer will create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our client’s complex web applications. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the user experience for their BtoB applications and experiences. • Collaborate with end users to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
• Design and prototype user interfaces for complex web applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
• Optimize user interfaces for responsiveness and compatibility across different devices and screen sizes
• Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, incorporating them into the design process
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the overall user experience strategy for our client’s BtoB applications and experiences
• Use Adobe tools and other relevant software to create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the seamless integration of design elements into the final product

Requirements

• Experience in Node JS / React is a plus, as it will enable you to better understand the technical aspects of the development process and collaborate effectively with the development team
• 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in building complex UI for modern web applications
• Proficiency in Adobe tools to create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes
• Experience in optimizing UX for complex BtoB applications and experiences
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes
• Familiarity with HTML5 and its capabilities in creating interactive web experiences
• Strong Experience with Node JS / React
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user needs and pain points
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• A passion for user-centered design and a strong attention to detail

• None

Preferred Requirements

• Local to Washington D.C. is preferred
• Experience working within a start-up environment is highly preferred

Clearance Requirements

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Must be able to obtain a US Government Secret level clearance once starting the position.
