The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers business problem/goals.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications
Skills:
Experience in software design and development
Experience in professional UI development
Experience with data-driven UI development
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
5-7 Years Experience Required
Best vs. Average: Detail-oriented, especially in writing documentation, Good communication skills, particularly in working with other designers, developers, and project managers, ability to explain the use of components and provide guidance on their application, Prior MSFT (is a plus but not a hard requirement)
Key projects: This role will contribute to Creating toolkits, which include smaller subcomponents like buttons and cards, and assembling them into larger units or templates for use.
Candidate Requirements. Translating conceptual component-level ideas into high-fidelity, user-friendly templates, and writing documentation on specific design components.
Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
Disqualifiers: Not able to address HSA questions (listed down below)
Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to work on creating toolkits, which include translating conceptual component-level ideas into high-fidelity, user-friendly templates. This involves building smaller subcomponents like buttons and cards and assembling them into larger units or templates for use. Additionally, the team focuses on writing documentation specific to the use of design components, explaining how to use them, and detailing do’s and don’ts.
