What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Support the UX vision and strategy established by project leadership in alignment with business objectives
• Conduct user interviews and surveys, develop personas, and execute research plans to inform product decisions
• Participate in ideation sessions, rapid testing, and concept validation to discover UX solutions
• Test solutions for usability and accessibility, run feedback sessions, and conduct related research
• Communicate study results and user outcomes clearly and unbiasedly, using data to illustrate user stories

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human-computer interaction, human factors, or related field
• 3+ years of applied UX research experience in the software industry
• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform work in the U.S.
• Candidate must have resided in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years
• Candidate must be eligible for public trust

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master’s degree in psychology, human-computer interaction, human factors, or related field
• 10+ years of overall professional experience
• Ability to provide 1 or more case studies demonstrating research process and deliverables
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA / Section 508 compliance
• Experience in federal contracting or healthcare IT
