Ux Specialist (Remote)

Schedule / Shift: Monday – Friday; Hours: 37.5 per week;

Job Overview

Join the growing Software Development Team at Allyant. Reporting to the VP of Product Innovation, you will be working in a customer-focused, innovative, challenging and fun learning environment. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating intuitive user experiences and help us create functional and appealing product features that address our users’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting user research through interviews, focus groups, shadowing and other methods
• Translating customer insights into product requirements, design decisions and improvements
• Leading the design of product features
• Rapidly sketch and prototype ideas
• Producing user scenarios, user personas, user workflows, site maps
• Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes
• Planning, conducting, and analyzing usability testing
• Collaboration with software development teams, product owner and business stakeholders
• Related duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software products

• Expertise in interaction design and information architecture
• In-depth knowledge of UX best practices, user-centered design, and design thinking
• Experience with responsive web and mobile app design
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, UXpin, InVision
• Understanding of accessibility compliance
• Previous work in Agile environment
• Strong communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, Human Interface Technology, other relevant degree and work experience

Remote Requirements

• Working space must be professional / business appropriate, free of distractions and safely maintained (as to meet safe working conditions followed on company premises).
• A fast, stable / uninterrupted internet connection
