We are looking for a UX/UI designer to support our team of two developers and one product manager. We have a product in the market that we launched in April.
Our product is a Microsoft Teams app that enterprise companies like Nestlé, Novonesis, and Arla buy to help solve problems related to social connectedness in hybrid work environments.
With the rise in hybrid work, employees have seen a sharp decrease in informal interactions, popularly known as “water cooler chats.” The unfortunate consequence of this is that employees feel less connected to their colleagues and employers.
Our biggest challenge is not whether companies will buy it. Rather, our challenge is getting employees to love using our app a couple of times per week with their colleagues, feel comfortable, have fun, and scale usage exponentially.
Unlike many B2B companies, our product resembles a consumer product because our users are not forced to use it as part of their work. Therefore, we need help from an experienced UX/UI designer to create a great user experience.
As the product is live, your responsibility will be to improve it iteratively and help us introduce new features like gamification and notifications. In the longer term, we will look into adding new types of activities to the product.
The right candidate understands the problem we are trying to solve and is highly skilled in designing high-quality, responsive interfaces. We also expect UX skills and experience, including analytics. Lastly, the candidate must be able to deliver work at the pace that a start-up requires, enabling us to deliver value frequently.
Relevant work experience is a hard requirement, and you will be asked to present your portfolio in the interview.
The terms are as follows:
- €4,000/month, invoiced from your entity (freelance arrangement).
- The contract will run month to month but is expected to last 6-12 months.
- The role can be filled remotely assuming time zone compatibility, but a Copenhagen-based candidate will have an advantage.
- This is a part-time role. As part of the interview process, you are expected to outline how you plan to manage to ensure you are available in the capacity we need.
- In your application, please specify why you think this could be a good match for both of us.
The expected start date is the 1st of November.
We very much look forward to receiving your application.
