Vendor Management Specialist Wfh | Get It Recruit – Transportation | United States

Are you passionate about supplier management and looking for an exciting remote opportunity? We’re seeking a dedicated Supplier Management Specialist to join our team! This full-time contract role offers you the chance to make a significant impact by ensuring compliance and maintaining smooth operations throughout the vendor lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

Customer Facing

Vendor Applications: Review and process vendor applications for state contracts using our Supplier Management Portal.

Documentation Management: Handle registration, enrollment materials, and document updates.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional support by addressing customer inquiries and assisting with technical issues in the supplier management portal.

Vendor Management System (VMS): Oversee supplier activations and ensure ongoing compliance.

Helpdesk Support: Assist with password resets, VectorVMS® mentoring/training, and resolving functionality issues in VectorVMS® and ServiceNow.

Reputation Building: Work towards building and maintaining a positive reputation with our customers.

Internal Facing

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver goals and provide timely updates.

Accounts Payable Support: Assist with payment term changes, address updates, and supplier sub setups for state clients.

Insurance Compliance: Ensure all supplier insurance documents are compliant.

Account Management: Provide prompt status updates to account managers.

What You’ll Need

Analytical Skills: Ability to perform detailed requirement analysis and map solutions to meet supplier needs.

Problem-Solving: Strong skills in analyzing, researching, and routine problem-solving.

Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple implementations simultaneously.

Office Experience: Experience in an office environment performing clerical tasks such as filing, maintaining records, and completing forms.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills, including tools supporting contracts.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks concurrently.

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail in all tasks.

Education/Experience: Associate’s Degree or 5+ years of related experience.

Not Required But a Plus

Familiarity with ServiceNow, VectorVMS, Workday, MS Office (Word and Excel), and Microsoft Teams.

Physical Demands

Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.

Primarily sedentary work with occasional need to move around.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer.
