A results-driven business development executive. A trailblazer and road warrior. You are fanatical about helping prospective clients define their challenges and get results. Your deep understanding of operational excellence and supply chain makes you a trusted advisor and partner to the most senior executives of local manufacturers, multi-nationals, and Private Equity firms.
The Role:
This role is responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships, crafting compelling proposals, and securing new consulting engagements. In doing so, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our consulting practice and delivering high return outcomes for our clients.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Lead generation—Identify, research, and develop leads
- Qualify or disqualify leads from marketing / social campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact prospects through cold calls, emails, and social outreach
- Hold meetings and calls with prospective and existing clients to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with prospects and Subject Matter Experts on designing solutions to challenges
- Develop and present proposals to prospective and current clients
- Negotiate and close new consulting engagements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
- Proven track record of high-performance in a sales function such as a Business Development Representative, Account Executive, or similar role
Hands-on experience with prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel 25% for client visits and sales meetings
Preferred:
Knowledge of manufacturing, private equity, or management consulting industries
Experience in a consulting or start-up environment
Compensation: On-Target Earnings $250,000 (Base + uncapped commissions)
Travel Required: 25%
