Job Overview

As a Video Content Manager, you will lead a team of video editors, overseeing all aspects of content production to align with Nysonian’s creative and strategic objectives. This role demands a highly experienced video editing expert with a proven track record of managing large teams in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for supervising content creation, ensuring consistency and quality, and driving our video strategy forward. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who understands diverse target markets globally and can produce content that resonates with audiences in the US, Europe, Asia, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Development:

  • Lead the video content strategy to engage diverse global audiences, aligning with brand and marketing goals.
  • Develop, plan, and oversee a range of video content, including promotional, educational, and branded videos.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life, adding unique elements that connect with target markets worldwide.

Team Management & Collaboration:

  • Manage a team of video editors, providing guidance and mentorship to produce high-quality content that meets brand standards.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, assign projects, monitor workload, and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members are motivated to perform optimally, even in high-pressure scenarios.

Editing & Production Oversight:

  • Supervise the entire video editing process, ensuring all content aligns with brand and quality standards.
  • Oversee editing, color grading, and sound design, maintaining consistency across all content.
  • Conduct final reviews and approvals of video edits, ensuring a professional and polished end product.

Technical Expertise & Innovation:

  • Stay updated on video editing software, tools, and trends to produce cutting-edge content.
  • Incorporate advanced techniques in storytelling, motion graphics, and sound design to captivate global audiences.
  • Oversee the integration of animations, special effects, and technical elements for enriched content appeal.

Market Relevance & Audience Adaptation:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of video content preferences across international markets, adapting strategies for diverse global audiences.
  • Analyze market trends and audience behaviors in the US, Europe, Asia, and other key regions to fine-tune video content strategies.
  • Leverage insights to produce culturally relevant and engaging content for a worldwide customer base.

Quality Control & Performance Optimization:

  • Regularly evaluate content quality, implementing improvements to enhance visual and sound quality.
  • Streamline workflows for efficient content creation, editing, and review processes.
  • Utilize analytics to assess video performance and refine strategies to maximize engagement across target markets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of video editing experience, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing a large team of video editors in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Global Market Awareness:

  • In-depth knowledge of target markets across the US, Europe, Asia, and other regions.
  • Ability to tailor video content to resonate with diverse international audiences.
  • Experience working in environments with a fast-paced workflow, managing rapid shifts in strategy.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Exceptional team management skills, with a focus on mentorship, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong project management skills to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to align video content with broader company goals.

Preferred:

  • Experience with live streaming, interactive content, and other digital media innovations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for content production.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and SEO principles.
