What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Deliver an exceptional commercial customer and agent/broker experience through empathetic and efficient claim service
• Create initial damage estimates using Xactimate and assess commercial property claims of varied complexity
• Manage vendor relationships and demonstrate strong negotiation skills in the resolution of commercial property damages
• Coordinate investigations and evaluate claims through contact with customers, business partners, and experts
• Identify files with fraud and subrogation/salvage recovery potential and coordinate with relevant units

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three to five years of claims experience, specifically in Commercial Property and field estimating
• Solid knowledge of commercial property claims and experience with physical inspections and estimates
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical business decisions
• Ability to support Catastrophe (CAT) duty and extended operating hours as needed

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Professional designations in the insurance field
• IICRC certification and completion of Applied Structural Drying
• Experience in commercial property construction/restoration
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
• Ability to adapt to change and value diverse opinions
