What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Deliver exceptional customer service to commercial customers and agents/brokers through efficient claim service
• Create initial damage estimates using Xactimate and assess commercial property damages
• Manage a variety of commercial property claims, including weather-related incidents and equipment breakdowns
• Coordinate investigations and evaluations of claims with various stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and data related to claims and communicate coverage decisions

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum three to five years of claims experience, specifically in Commercial Property and field estimating
• Solid knowledge of commercial property claims and experience in conducting physical inspections
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain proper licensing as required

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Professional designations related to insurance or claims
• IICRC certification and completion of Applied Structural Drying
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
• Ability to support Catastrophe (CAT) duty and extended operating hours as needed
