What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Deliver exceptional customer service to commercial customers and agents/brokers through efficient claim handling
- Assess commercial property damages and create initial damage estimates using Xactimate
- Manage and resolve commercial property claims of varied complexity, including weather-related and equipment breakdown claims
- Coordinate investigations and evaluations of claims through collaboration with customers, vendors, and experts
- Identify potential fraud and recovery opportunities and collaborate with relevant teams for resolution
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of three to five years of claims experience, specifically in Commercial Property and field estimating
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; professional designations preferred
- Solid knowledge of commercial property claims and significant experience in conducting physical inspections
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing time and resources effectively
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- IICRC certification and completion of Applied Structural Drying
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
- Experience in managing vendor relationships effectively
- Ability to support Catastrophe (CAT) duty and extended operating hours as needed
- Knowledge of state/territory regulations and industry trends
