Visual Merchandiser Southeast (Remote)

Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry Position Summary: This position requires 80% travel within assigned region and remote based in Miami, FL. This individual will collaborate with team members and vendors from multiple time zones, including international.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Includes The Following

• Execute global visual merchandising standards for Breitling Boutiques and Wholesale POS to ensure best-in-class VM and strategy of the brand.
• Responsible for the ordering , tracking and installation of all visuals and displays.
• Take full ownership of implementing quarterly animation waves for all POS (Boutiques, wholesale and Duty Free).
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising Manager and Swiss headquarters to support Duty Free Shops for all visual merchandising needs.
• Maintain daily communication and follow through with Vendors and POS for all projects, coordinating delivery, visual installations and custom displays.
• Regular visits and training to boutiques and wholesale POS across the region (USA & Canada) to ensure consistency and visual standards are upheld, includes not limited to installation and/or dismantle of displays.
• Partner with the Trade Marketing & VM Ops Specialist for to ensure timely delivery for installations.
• Communication with Breitling Account Executives to access visual and display needs.
• Assist with new boutique openings, Shop-in-shop, pop-up and special event installations as required to support business in partnership with the Trade Marketing Team and Swiss Headquarters, includes not limited to sourcing of visual collateral, displays and additional project needs.
• Must be present to oversee Boutique overnight window installations in partnership with onsite vendors.
• Report maintenance issues at POS to Project Manager.
• Support Training and Events Department for visual and display needs.
• Submission of weekly visual report and maintain an archive of photos from market visits.
• Must keep all internal documents up-to-date per project and store openings.
• Track T & E and Vendor Budget
• Other duties and projects will be assigned.

Education/Experience

• College degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the field visual merchandising is a must ,preferably in within the luxury fashion and/or fine jewelry/watch industry. Interior design background is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and ability to problem solve, project management skills and strong attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects in a fast-paced environment ,thrive under great pressure with extreme tight deadlines.
• Must be able to manage travel schedule and complete projects simultaneously.
• Travel 80% of the time by plane and driving.
• This position requires a vehicle, valid driver license and passport.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work outside of regular business hours , including weekend (depending on projects) ,is a must.
• Submission of a portfolio is a plus.

Software Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Adobe Creative Suite , is a plus.
• Experience with SAP systems ,is preferred.
• Basic photography skill is a must.
