Visual Ux Designer (Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Visual Design UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually stunning user interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience. You will collaborate closely with our product managers, developers, and other designers to turn concepts into high-quality designs.

• 5+ years experience as a Visual Designer or UX Designer.
• Looking for someone who went to school for this who has a degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field. Not just a UX bootcamp.

• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects.
• Portfolio should display modern design imagery and techniques that draw the users attention in a meaningful way.
• Specifically looking for interaction/animation/Motion design skills. Using tools like After Effects for animations, or Framer or Motion UI.
• Previous experience supporting or building a Design System and creating reusable UI components with an understanding of scalability and adaptability of enterprise products
• Clear and concise in communication style but can also build excitement throughout the conversation as they describe their previous work

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a desktop applications

Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the user experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Present and defend your design decisions based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e., color theory, visual weight, etc.).

Stay up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

5+ years experience as a Visual Designer or UX Designer.

Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects. Specifically looking for interaction/animation design skills. Portfolio should display modern design imagery and techniques that draw the users attention in a meaningful way.

Previous experience supporting or building a Design System and creating reusable UI components with an understanding of scalability and adaptability of enterprise products

Clear and concise in communication style but can also build excitement throughout the conversation as they describe their previous work.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, pixel perfect mindset.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field
