Roamers Therapy is an outpatient psychotherapy practice dedicated to providing compassionate mental health services in Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C.

Position Overview: Web and IT Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Web and IT Specialist in Türkiye to support our practice’s operations as a remote contractor. This role is essential in managing front-end and back-end operations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have experience with website design (UX) and technical development, troubleshooting, as well as a strong understanding of search engine optimization and analytics.

The person in this role will work with a variety of different organizational staff and ensure that all web-related projects are completed in a timely manner and to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with copywriters and editors to create site content and features that adhere to accessibility standards, to continually improve the website user experience and support the organization’s goals and strategies.
• Increase traffic and engagement to the websites. Apply SEO and SEM best practices and strategies.
• Maintaining IT systems and providing tech support for staff, ensuring smooth operations.
• Stay up to date with the latest web design and development trends and technologies. Identify ways to improve website UX, identifying and fulfilling opportunities for website improvement based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Identify and troubleshoot website technical issues, including display, caching, hosting, and load times. Ensure website functionality and perform software updates. Update website coding frequently as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and managing risk.
• Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workplace policies.
• Managing emails and calls and responding promptly to client inquiries.
• Supporting and growing marketing initiatives through social media, website updates, and other platforms.
• Screening candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing hiring documentation, including offer letters and benefits packages.
• Conducting ongoing market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Overseeing invoicing, payments, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
• Handling billing audits, insurance claim submissions, and client invoicing.
• Attending weekly meetings.

Must-have qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a related area.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Bachelor’s degree in web design, web development, or related is a plus.
• Proficient/Native & Bilingual abilities in English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience or interest in healthcare management is a plus.

Must-have web-IT knowledge:

• In-depth understanding and applications of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) / SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
• WordPress (Essential): Knowledge of plugins, themes, and updates.
• Working knowledge of VPN Servers, such as Tailscale.
• MS Office.
• Google Analytics: To track website performance and traffic.
• Google Search Console: For monitoring indexing and SEO issues.
• SEO Tools.
• Front End Developer (UIX Design, HTML, CSS, Graphics, Canva) 
• Back End Developer (PHP, MySQL, SSH, Javascript, Linux)
• Processing photos with Lightroom, VSCO, Photoshop, or Canva.
• VPN Tools.
• Cloud Platforms.
• Hosting Platforms.
