Role Overview

As a Web Designer/Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing our self sign-on web flow, ensuring it’s user-friendly, efficient, and optimized for conversions. You’ll create visually compelling, conversion-optimized web pages and flows, working closely with our product and marketing teams. You’ll also be responsible for ongoing optimization through A/B testing, integrating SEO best practices, and ensuring our sign-on flows work seamlessly with payment systems, CRMs, and marketing automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Develop User-Friendly Web Flows:

• Create visually appealing and intuitive web designs that enhance user experience and drive conversions.
• Develop front-end code using Next.js, Node.js, and JavaScript to bring designs to life.
• Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and browsers.

Optimize for Conversions and SEO:

• Implement best practices in UX/UI design to create conversion-optimized web pages and user flows.
• Integrate SEO best practices into web design to improve site visibility and search rankings.
• Continuously improve the self sign-on process to maximize user engagement, conversions, and organic traffic.

A/B Testing and Optimization:

• Set up, run, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of different design elements and user flows.
• Implement changes based on test results to improve performance, conversion rates, and SEO metrics.

E-commerce Integration:

• Integrate sign-on flows with payment systems, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure proper integration and functionality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with product managers, marketers, and other stakeholders to align web development efforts with business goals.
• Communicate effectively to ensure all requirements are understood and met.

Maintain and Update Website Content:

• Regularly update website content to reflect new products, features, promotions, and SEO keywords.
• Ensure the website is up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and SEO strategies.

Who You Are

UX/UI Design Expert with a Keen Eye for Design:

• You have a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually stunning, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized web designs and flows.
• You possess a strong aesthetic sense and attention to visual details that make a design stand out.

Skilled Web Developer:

• Proficient in front-end technologies including Next.js, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Familiar with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

SEO-Savvy:

• Experienced in integrating SEO best practices into web design to enhance site visibility and search engine rankings.
• Knowledge of on-page SEO techniques, keyword optimization, and site architecture.

A/B Testing Pro:

• Experienced in setting up, running, and analyzing A/B tests to optimize web pages for better performance.

E-commerce Integration Savvy:

• Knowledgeable in integrating websites with payment systems, CRMs, and marketing automation tools.

Detail-Oriented:

• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that designs are pixel-perfect and code is clean and maintainable.

Collaborative Team Player:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Problem Solver:

• Able to troubleshoot issues quickly and find creative solutions to technical challenges.

English Proficiency:

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with the team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web design and development, particularly for B2B companies targeting small businesses.
• Proficiency in Next.js, Node.js, and JavaScript is essential.
• Strong experience with SEO and integrating SEO best practices into web design.
• Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing designs with a strong eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Experience with UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with integrating front-end code with back-end services and APIs.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
• Understanding of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.
• Experience working with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
