Job Description:

Tratak Labs is seeking a talented WordPress Developer & Web Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, responsive, and user-friendly websites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and designing visually appealing web layouts, all from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive WordPress websites from scratch or using themes and templates.
• Customize and modify existing WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Implement and maintain design consistency across different pages and devices.
• Collaborate with clients or internal teams remotely to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize website layout and features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website performance, security, and plugin issues.
• Regularly update and maintain websites for clients, including content updates and feature enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer and Web Designer.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Strong knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other design tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines remotely.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
• Knowledge of basic web hosting and domain management.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
