Web Developer

The Web Developer will be responsible for full-stack development for internal & external projects and research aligned with our clients’ business goals. This person will need to foster a strong working relationship internally with the Account Management and creative/production team as well as externally with clients on the approval of projects. The ideal candidate has to be hands-on, agile, creative, disciplined and highly motivated to deliver the best for the clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in web development.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Gather requirements and create the technical architecture required for implementation
• Build and enhance the web applications to support and digitalize the processes
• Develop and implement of WordPress or equivalent websites
• Customize WordPress themes and templates according to client requirements
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and search engine optimization (SEO)
• Perform development, maintenance, update, conduct thorough testing, quality assurance of websites and applications, including content management
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to website functionality and usability
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure a seamless user experience
• Maintain secure coding standards and implement scalable applications
• Evaluate and provide solutions & technical feedback on project requirements
• Ensure security of the applications on the internet & intranet are not compromised and no vulnerabilities
• Upgrade all the script and supporting libraries to latest versions with no vulnerabilities time to time
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in web development
• Pick up skill sets from team mates on digital content, social media pages management

Requirement

• At least a Diploma in Computer Science or other related fields
• Minimum of 3-year related experience
• Strong knowledge of WordPress and its ecosystem or equivalent
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with other equivalent website platforms is a plus
• Great understand of web development principles and techniques
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Possess good analytical and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,500.00 – $3,500.00 per month
