Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our team and help drive the development and maintenance of our digital presence. The ideal candidate will be adept in both front-end and back-end development, ensuring a seamless user experience for our clients and partners across all our web platforms. This role will require strong technical skills, creativity, and an understanding of e-commerce and content management systems, particularly Shopify.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications for Master Powers Canadian and international markets, focusing on e-commerce functionality and a responsive, user-friendly experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement digital strategies and ensure the branding is consistent across all platforms.
• Work on front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Develop back-end functionality, integrating APIs, databases, and server-side logic.
• Maintain and optimize Shopify platforms for Master Powers product listings in Canada and Dubai, ensuring high-quality and accurate product information.
• Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize loading speeds and responsiveness.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and traffic.
• Regularly update content, manage plugins, and ensure web security and data privacy compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of projects in both front-end and back-end development.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, PHP) and database management (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Expertise in Shopify platform management and e-commerce site development.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
