The job title you clicked on doesn’t do it justice. Sure, you’ll ‘manage web projects,’ but this role? It’s so much more. Picture yourself steering projects that keep you on your toes (literally and figuratively), turning challenges into wins, and creating high performance websites that drive tangible results and fuel client success.

Role Overview

Do you have the tech know-how to build high-performing websites, charm clients, keep multiple web projects moving, and have fun along the way? Perfect. We need someone just like you to take web projects from vague ideas to “Wow, that’s amazing!”

You’ll keep everyone in sync and make sure things stay on time (and budget). Most importantly, you’ll turn clients into raving fans—this is what we are all about at Oddball!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication: Keep clients in the loop with regular check-ins, making sure we’re not just meeting but exceeding their expectations every step of the way.
  • Project Planning & Oversight: Lead all phases from concept to launch, guiding architecture, content, design, and development while ensuring plans meet goals, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Team Coordination & Collaboration: Rally and steer a talented crew of designers, writers, and developers, keeping everyone on the same page, inspired, and in sync through open communication.
  • Scope Management: Stay sharp on project scope, staying agile and keeping clients informed.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle challenges in e-commerce, brand identity, and web presence, finding solutions that make us (and clients) look good.
  • Quality Assurance: Put every project through its paces with testing and troubleshooting to ensure nothing short of top-notch.
  • Risk Management: Spot and handle potential hiccups early, keeping the project on course from start to finish.

Required Capabilities:

  • Tech Know-How: A solid understanding of web development and the tech behind it, plus the skills to troubleshoot any bumps in the road.
  • Communication & Leadership: You’re a natural leader who can bring teams together, manage client relationships, and keep everyone in sync.
  • Project Management Savvy: Familiar with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall? Even better—you’ll fit right in here.
  • Time Mastery: You know how to juggle tasks and projects, set priorities, and hit deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • Problem-Solver: You’re proactive, spotting issues before they become problems and finding solutions fast.
  • Budget & Resources: Experienced in keeping projects on budget and making smart use of resources to get things done right.
  • Design & UX Know-How: You understand web design, UX, and testing, keeping user experience front and centre.

Required Skills

  • 2yrs website building experience
  • WordPress experience is a must. Shopify experience would be favourable
  • Experience with WordPress Theme and Plugin editing is a bonus

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and collaborative team environment that values your input and ideas.
  • Freedom to shape your role and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Frequent team celebrations, including lunches and social events multiple times per month.
  • Comprehensive learning and development opportunities to help you grow in your career.
  • Competitive salary complemented by a robust benefits package.
  • An energetic work culture where fresh ideas thrive, and innovation is celebrated every day.
  • Convenient West Gosford location within driving distance to all areas of the Central Coast and just minutes from major highway access—blend work-life balance.

How to Apply:

If you fit the bill, come take our web projects from idea to “Wow!” We’d love to hear from you. Send us your resume and a cover letter that shows off your experience and tells us why you’re the one for the job!

Please note: We’re only considering in-state applicants—no overseas or out-of-state candidates, please.
