As a key business partner, I was engaged in this newly created position to provide a strategic consultancy service to senior management and staff by scoping, designing and delivering leadership initiatives through the OD and L&D channels to build overall leadership capability and capacity. I reported to the General Manager of Workforce Development and Performance and worked closely with the Associate Director and management across the organisation to achieve the people and organisational development goals of Murdoch University’s Strategic Plan.
My original remit was to develop a leadership development framework, manage the budget and gain senior management sponsorship, which I delivered successfully. There was a lot of structural change and funding challenges within the organisation, and my position evolved and took on new challenges as a change leader and organisational coach to professional and academic staff.

Aspirational Youth Learning Pathways
The Aspirational Youth Learning Pathways program was a unique initiative developed to engage, inspire and educate youth who faced barriers accessing traditional higher educational learning pathways. Essentially, this was about equality and access to quality education for all, which is what inspired my commitment to this project. As the project manager, I led the start-up of this $5Million project and drove the initial success through various strategies, including design of the stakeholder engagement strategy, feasibility study, governance framework and development of the communication strategy.

Executive Education Centre
This was a start-up senior role, responsible for market analysis and subsequent engaging and attracting cross-sector clients to the Executive Education Centre. I managed the projects and associated key subject matter experts, end:end program management for leadership development leadership initiatives, together with contract management, proposal and tender writing, building advocacy for the Executive Education brand and sourcing collaborative partnerships, achieving a 80% conversion rate from prospect to contracted client.

This role was responsible for the strategic management of major donor partnerships & programs, scholarships, prizes and annual giving. Previously there were no online giving programs established. I was engaged as an engagement specialist to successfully project lead the design, implementation and leveraging of the online giving framework, make it more attractive and accessible for donors, increasing donations for the University and donor engagement, utilising only 30% of the pre-determined project delivery budget.

Business Consultant July 2004 – Apr 2006 -Western Australia
As a Business Consultant for GSK, I was involved in the development of the successful tender to deliver state wide immunisation programs, and then took regional project ownership of the successful roll out of this major program through successful client and partner engagement, market analysis, developing new programs, along with business development strategies to achieve significant [45%] business growth and recognition nationally as a ‘Top Performer’.
