Being passionate about human behavior and community development, Vasan has spent the past 10 years of his professional life accumulating knowledge and skill-sets to be able to work with people and communities better. These knowledges and skillsets includes NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DISC Profiling test and a few others.
With these skill sets, and having worked with several self-development and team building trainers, Vasan is now embarking on a journey, conducting sustainable development workshops with several communities, especially rural, under-developed villages, in Central America for free.
Being worked with about 12 different groups from 4 countries, Vasan came to a realization that Honduras needs the most support and decided to stay and build these communities to be able to self sustain. The challenge for him now is finances. He would not be able to support others if he is not able to support himself. For that, he needs to secure a full-time job that he is able to execute remotely and on his time outside of work, live with these communities and help them build.
Vasan’s previous experiences from executive to management level, in customer service, hospitality and the banking industry, with his experience working with people the past 20 years will be a great asset to the organization he will contributing to.

- Vasan's responsibilities are to reach out to local partners, identify local communities to work with and conduct workshops and facilitate the change.

- Swan Kids is a training & milestone development company working with schools, community centers, and youth organizations in all 5 boroughs of New York and New Jersey. The primary focus is to encourage positive mental and physical development in the participants.
- Vasan was invited to join the team in developing new programs, simplifying and creating new business and marketing processes, and SOPs for client engagement.

- A well-known learning and development company in the corporate world of Malaysia, KTC focuses mainly on building teams, offering hard and soft skills trainings.
- Being passionate about human development, KTC was a stepping stone for Vasan to begin his career in the industry. He was trained by industry leaders under the flagship of KTC. Part of his responsibilities was engaging clients and designing, facilitating & leading training programs.
Training and Experience Development
Epic Homes – Malaysia
- A social enterprise, building homes for disaster victims and indigenous communities of Malaysia.
- In charge of crafting the experience for clients and volunteers, mostly in remote situations, Vasan was creating modules to be duplicated by the full time and part time coordinators on field.
Head Experience Coordinator
MYCorps - Malaysia & Cambodia
- Modeled after the Peace Corps, MYCorps is an initiative by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia to train and deploy volunteers to contribute in selected countries.
- MYCorps went through a rebranding process and Vasan was chosen to manage the team aspect of the program and craft the volunteering experience. He went through the entire process with the volunteers, some of them are permanent staffs of the program now, and making sure the experiences gained are life-changing.
Consumer Lending Specialist
AmBank – Malaysia
- One of the leading banks in consumer products in the country.
- Vasan was given the responsibility to lead the consumer lending division in a branch, reporting directly to the Headquarters. Working remotely, Vasan needed to manage from sourcing clients, preparing documentations, submissions and following up for approvals from the HQ.

Citibank – Malaysia
- A global bank with a stronghold in the Malaysian market
- Being a customer service executive, Vasan was mainly handling credit card enquiries and escalations. He was the go-to guy for retention issues.
