Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Remote)

The Role:

Intel 471 is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our world-class team, reporting to the VP of Engineering (Threat Hunting). The role can be located in the US on a remote basis.

In this role, you’ll leverage your frontend development experience to improve and expand our Threat Hunting platform (Cyborg Security). This role will focus on developing the user-facing Angular application, with opportunities to work on the UI/UX/design, the architectural aspects of developing and iterating on an enterprise SaaS single-page application, as well as integrating the Threat Hunting platform with the next generation core Threat Intelligence platform.

Prior experience working in or developing applications related to the cyber intelligence or broader cyber security fields will be considered a substantial advantage for success in this role, but is not strictly required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building out whole new capabilities/features in the platform together with our UI/UX team and frontend engineers.
• Collaborating with backend/API engineers to design and develop the services supporting the user-facing frontend Angular application.
• Assisting in the design phase of feature development, helping to shape requirements into deliverable implementations.
• Reviewing changes by other engineers impacting the platform, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with the roadmap.
• Investigating escalated issues from customers and bug fixing.

Researching and executing on integrating the current Threat Hunting platform with the future next generation Threat Intelligence platform.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience building production user-facing applications.
• Experience mentoring other engineers through code reviews and developing team standards and best practices.
• Experience working with single-page applications, ideally Angular 15+, as well as supporting services like REST APIs, authentication services, etc.
• Familiarity with additional frontend technologies like React will be a distinct advantage.
• Familiarity with monorepo development and any full-stack development experience working on supporting services like REST APIs will be a distinct advantage.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD systems.

Any familiarity with the cyber security industry will be a distinct advantage.

The role will report to our VP of Engineering (Threat Hunting) but will be expected to interact and work closely with other areas of the company as needed. The role is available anywhere in the United States and may involve occasional travel within the United States, Europe and Asia. The role requires regular contact with our international team located in the United States, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia so a comfort working with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds is required.
