This is a back-end-focused role, but we welcome full-stack developers who have strong expertise and a proven track record in back-end development. We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with unmatched expertise in server-side application development, database management, and API development. You will play a key role in building integrations with industry-specific CRMs tailored to our vertical market and you’ll have the opportunity to develop scalable, efficient solutions that enhance our core offerings.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have:

• Expertise in back-end development, with a proven track record of building scalable applications using Node.js.
• Significant experience with MySQL or MariaDB, including writing advanced SQL queries, database optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in working with API data and building robust API endpoints.
• Experience working with tools and libraries like Axios for API integration.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment, including regular voice calls with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize back-end applications using Node.js.
• Design, implement, and manage API endpoints that provide robust and efficient data services.
• Integrate with industry-specific CRMs, ensuring seamless data flow and high reliability.
• Write advanced SQL queries to manipulate, retrieve, and analyze data efficiently.
• Use Axios to connect and manage third-party API integrations.
• Design and manage complex database schemas in MySQL or MariaDB, with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate exclusively on server-side logic to deliver dependable, high-performance systems.
• Follow and enforce best practices for back-end development to ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Strong verbal communication is critical to this role. As part of a remote team, you’ll need to:

• Clearly articulate technical concepts during team discussions and daily voice calls.
• Ensure that ideas, solutions, and challenges are effectively communicated to team members and stakeholders.

What You Must Bring to the Role:

• Legal authorization to work in the United States and availability to work within Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• 10+ years of focused experience in back-end development using Node.js.
• 10+ years of professional experience managing MySQL or MariaDB, including designing schemas, optimizing queries, writing advanced SQL queries, and solving database challenges.
• Proven experience in API development, including designing and building RESTful API endpoints and working with external APIs.
• Hands-on experience using Axios or similar libraries for managing API connections.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript, JSON, and server-side programming.
• A track record of delivering high-quality, back-end-centric solutions that prioritize performance and reliability.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
