This is a unique opportunity tomake a significant impact on the future of renewable energy. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of ourcommunity solar projects, from initial design to final commissioning. Thisrole requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to workeffectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.Responsibilities: Lead the technical design of community solar projects, includinglayout design, electrical design, and system optimization. Utilize PVSyst or equivalent software to model solar energy productionand validate design assumptions. Prepare and review technical submittals, ensuring all designs meetlocal, state, and federal regulations, as well as project-specificrequirements. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure projects aredelivered on time and within budget. Perform quality assurance checks on engineering deliverables andprovide technical support to construction teams during system installationand commissioning. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar technology andindustry best practices, and incorporate these into project designs. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs andexpectations are met.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical orRenewable Energy Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar project engineering, with afocus on community solar projects. Proficiency in PVSyst or equivalent solar design software. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including grid interconnectionand power conversion equipment. Proven experience in layout design and technical submittalpreparation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make soundtechnical decisions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability towork effectively in a remote team environment. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
