B2C eCommerce Product Manager

Contract to permanent hire

Compensation: $70-$75/hr or $130,000/yr + bonus

Location: Remote in Eastern or Central U.S. time zones

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy of the B2C E-commerce journey and work to continuously improve the customer experience in innovative ways. You will be responsible for directing the efforts of a cross-functional team to deliver feature enhancements and industry-first innovations that delight customers and help fuel growth. You will work closely with business partners and end users to understand the needs of the customer and solve problems. You will evangelize your solutions and report back the value being driven to senior stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Establish, own, and drive the strategy for your product (OEM parts and retail distribution ecommerce websites) domain based on customer research, user analytics, and stakeholder feedback

– Actively engage with engineers, designers, stakeholders, and customers to follow a 5D product lifecycle, owning the definition, discovery, design, development, and delivery of features and innovations

– Build your roadmap, and prioritize projects based on value to the customer and business

– Lead agile ceremonies for your scrum team including daily scrum calls, sprint planning, story refinement, sprint demos, and retrospectives

– Communicate to product leaders and stakeholders your roadmap and deliverables through project briefs, live demos, and sharable artifacts

– Write Epics and Stories that align with your roadmap and communicate effectively what needs to be delivered by the development team

– Along with QA, perform User Acceptance Testing of your features to ensure the development meets the expected vision for your product

– Participate in CRO efforts through A/B testing and iteration to continuously improve the customer experience

– Evangelize the new capabilities you bring to life through training and demonstrations to internal and external teams, and partnering with marketing leaders to build a communication strategy

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• – 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Leader, driving development in an agile environment for e-commerce websites and applications
• -Create processes and governance related to intake, roadmapping, and pipeline logging.
• -Desire to mentor and develop others in product management best practices.
• – All-star communicator (written and verbal) and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• – Can work in both Waterfall AND Agile as we transition our internal methodologies. Possess a strong knowledge of agile techniques and best practices and advocate for modern software development practices
• – Can operate at a strategic level and dive deep into technical details and complexity with ease
• – Can readily communicate technical and complex topics to non-technical audiences
• – Flexibility is key – Can handle (and enjoy the variety of) shifting priorities – being nimble to capitalize on opportunities when they arise
• – Find a way to get things done – obsess over the details, and deliver
