MPS Integrated is a market leader in commercial cleaning focusing on educational facilities, leisure and commercial buildings. We currently have a decentralised workforce of approximately 400 employees and we are expanding our workforce.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our growing company. This position needs someone who loves the challenge and who are ready to meet the demands of our growing business.
Operational Responsibilities-
- Oversee the service delivery to ensure it consistently adheres to service schedules, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with the CRMs to address operational challenges and ensure continuous improvement. Initiate and provide solutions. Follow up as necessary to verify the implementation of solutions.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed; equipment is maintained in a safe operating condition through regular testing and tagging process.
- Participate in site inspections and report outcomes to the Client and MPS senior management.
- Conduct site safety and quality audits.
- Facilitate improvement activities and overlook Maintenance Department.
Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality control systems to monitor cleaning standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to service agreements and quality benchmarks.
- Address client feedback and implement corrective actions to continuously improve service quality.
- Ensure all facilities meet essential service maintenance requirements and are OH&S compliant.
Equipment Management
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of high-quality equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Ensure all equipment is tested and tagged in consultation with the Compliance team.
- Oversee repairs and replacements, ensuring timely resolution of breakdowns.

- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and sites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge and understanding of OH&S – safe systems of work and environmental management.
- Hazard identification and risk assessment aptitude.
- Approachable team player who works collaboratively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and attention to detail.
