Job DescriptionAECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior ProgramManager to help lead our well established and growing Coal CombustionResiduals (CCR) Practice in a programmatic leadership role managingprojects, a client portfolio, and/or serving as a regional subject matterexpert. We aspire to develop, manage, and implement industry-leadingprojects regionally, nationally, and internationally.The successful candidate will help lead our CCR Practice while alsoproviding technical direction and leading client-facing teams to supportthe continued growth of our engineering and environmental services withinthe power and industrial markets, with a strong emphasis on CCR and solidwaste management. They will provide project/program leadership to assistclients with strategies for closing CCR impoundments and landfills, as wellas serve as an account manager for key clients. The successful candidatewill be highly knowledgeable in both existing and proposed federalregulations for CCR impoundments and landfills.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop new clients and support existing client relationships.Develop short-term and long-term business strategies and lead keyproposal efforts to grow the AECOM CCR Practice.Serve as an AECOM and industry expert with respect to CCR.Serve as a project manager or program manager on key clientaccounts.Attend client meetings and coordinate with multi-disciplinary projectteams.Provide technical leadership in the areas of CCR ash basin closure,landfill design, groundwater and related regulatory, planning, design andconstruction phase projects.Prepare qualifications, technical approach, and selling messages andcommunicate them in proposals and project interviews.Serve as senior CCR consultant for current and future projects, workingwith internal project teams and clients to set strategic direction forproject execution.Participate in national/regional industry organizations, as appropriateon behalf of AECOM and AECOM’s clients.Help recruit new talent to grow AECOM’s team.Your ImpactBe a part of the corporate-backed strategic growth initiative supportingthe CCR market, including design, permitting, construction, operation,closure, and site restoration.Work with key members of our CCR team to advance this strategic businessinitiative, including support of existing client relationships and growthof our project portfolio.Work with AECOM senior leaders to provide strategic insights tied to theCCR market.Develop, present, and execute winning client strategies for new andfollow-on contract bidsProvide input to the overall development of technical, management andbusiness plans.Support all phases of contract procurement – from pre-positioning toproposal development and post-submission activities.Mentor and coach team members as requiredServe as a reviewerLocal and national travel (up to 20% of the time).
