Up to £50k + Package + Remote WorkingA market leader in its field is looking to recruit anexperienced Project Manager (home-based) to join its strategy team. Thesuccessful candidate will work in a stand-alone capacity, supporting a widerange of projects and initiatives, including the opening of newlocations/premises as well as business improvement opportunities.Your role will be to ensure the success of critical strategic projectsby providing high quality project management to the Executive Team andother project members and stakeholders. The work will be varied and involveworking with many different teams across the business.You’ll be expected to maintain and monitor project plans, projectschedules, budgets and expenditure, identifying key dependencies andensuring project deadlines are met. You will also ensure projectdocumentation is up to date and accessible to project stakeholders and beresponsible for communicating project progress on a regular basis. Thiscommunication will involve setting up and running project meetings,producing tracking documents, and highlighting risks, deadlines and otherissues as required.Successful Candidates Are Likely To DemonstrateAt least 5 years previous experience as a Project ManagerPrince2 / APMP qualifications or similar or willingness to studyExperience of opening of new locations/premises highlyadvantageousProject budget tracking experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent relationship management skills across a range of stakeholdersat varying levels both internal and externalDependable attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAdvanced skills in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Project and TeamsExcellent prioritisation, time management and workload managementskills. Ability to cope under pressurised deadlines.Ability to work across organisational and geographic boundaries indeveloping collaborative approaches.Whilst the role is home-based, candidates will need to be willing andable to travel regularly to sites across the UK (which may occasionallyrequire overnight stays)Please note, this is not a teaching role.Successful applicants will be subject to pre-employment safeguardingchecks including an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.
