Theinformation security function encompasses a range of tasks andresponsibilities to protect sensitive and confidential information fromunauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.As a Senior Specialist – Information Security & Governance,the successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding anorganization’s data and digital assets by designing and implementingcyber security control measures, policies, and practices. The role involvesconducting risk assessments, reviewing security configuration, check andfollow up on compliance and responding to security incidents to ensureorganizations’ resilience against cyber-attacks and maintain a secureenvironment.Responsibilities:Manage information security compliance according to UAE andInternational information security standards.Responsible for periodic, timely review and analysis of security systemsand sub-systems to determine compliance with defined policies, processes,procedures with alignment to international standard.Conducts security risk assessments and gap assessment to identify securityposture and maintain evidences of compliance.Provides input during the design, configuration, development, andimplementation of information security architecture.Contributes in maintaining and updating consolidated compliance cataloguefor all applicable standards and frameworks like ISO and local regulationslike PCI DSS, ADSIC, SIA, Dubai ISR and ADHICS.Ensures the continuous update and refresh of the information securitypolicy handbook and its applicability.Perform periodic users access review using automated Access managementtool.Analyze and provide advisory services for Information securityincidents.Support business units during internal and external Information securityand other compliance audits.Work with the team to close the internal and external audit & securitytesting findings.Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, andtechnologies to ensure that our security systems are current andeffective.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or relatedfield.Good Understanding on MS Azure cyber security controls and concepts.8 + years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in InformationSecurity and Cyber Security Operations.Strong knowledge and implementation experience on International and UAECyber security standard requirements such as ISO 27001, ISO 27017, SIA UAEIA, ADHICS, Dubai ISR, PCI DSS, SOC 2 etc.Strong Understanding in Information Security Principles and Implementationtechniques.Strong team player and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Professional certifications such as ISO 27001, CISSP or CISM.What we look forIf you are a performance-driven, inquisitive mind with the agility to adaptto ambiguity, you will fit right in.
