Job DescriptionDesign and implement secure authentication and authorization solutionsusing AWS Cognito. Deploy and manage Cognito user pools, identity pools, and federatedidentities to support a large set of users via Terraform. Write custom Lambda functions that can be added as triggers in Cognitouser pools. Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) policies in Cognito. Integrate Cognito with other AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3,and DynamoDB to create comprehensive security architectures. Work with frontend and backend development teams to ensure secure andseamless integration of Cognito for user management and authentication.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Cognito implementations forperformance and security. Stay up to date with AWS security practices and Cognito updates toensure our solutions are robust against threats. Document architectures, procedures, and processes for managing anddeploying Cognito solutions. Provide technical guidance and training to other team members on AWSCognito and security best practices.QualificationsStudies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Experience with Terraform for deploying infrastructure as code (IaC).Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration is a plus.Knowledge of web security protocols and frameworks. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment(CI/CD) pipelines. Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyor as part of a team. Knowledge of AWS is required, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect orAWS Certified Security Specialty certification is a plus. Experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is aplus. Strong communication and documentation skills.What about languages? You will need excellent written and verbal English for clearand effective communication with the team.How much experience must I have?
