Maintain database/library of EVBfootprint and symbols library utilizing Orcad CIP Create new Allegrofootprints and Orcad schematic symbols. Creation of technology files todefine standard PCB construction definitions. Create and standardizePCB/ATE cross sections across business units. Clean-up and expansion ofdesign rules for PCB layout. Create and maintain Allegro DFA to controlcomponent to component spacing. Interact and align with PCB vendor forSkyworks PCB needs vs vendor capabilities. Interact and align with SkyworksTest Engineering group for PCB mechanical needs. Review boards ready forfabrication for manufacturability. Review Vendor DRC/DFM reports andprovide direct feedback. Required Experience and Skills Bachelor’sDegree, or equivalent years of experience, with 12 years of applicableexperience. Expert in Cadence Design Tools for schematic capture andlayout. Experience with PCB layout and design of RF, analog, and mixedsignal PCBs or using Cadence Allegro version 22.X or higher. Must beproficient with all aspects of Cadence Allegro tool, including use ofconstraint manager and manufacturing functions. Knowledge of IPC standardsrelated to PCB design. Solid design experience with various PCB stack ups,including use of blind/buried via, micro vias, specialty RF dielectricmaterials, and trace width/spacing. In-depth knowledge of RF PCB layouttechniques, including impedance control and EMI design considerations.Prior history with Cadence Orcad CIP is a plus utilizing a database forcomponent selection. Working knowledge of JEDEC / IPC design, fabrication,and assembly specifications. Experience creating assembly documentation andfabrication deliverables per detailed company and industry standards.Experience with Agile document control systems. Strong time managementskills that enable on-time project completion. Ability to work on multipletasks efficiently and effectively in both local and remote workenvironments.
