Let’s break it down

Goods & Services is looking for a Staff Software Engineer who will develop and support integrated automation solutions. This individual will work in a team setting working to automate the software delivery pipeline, cloud solution management and create tooling to streamline and enhance the current automation workflows and help build new workflows for next generation solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Automate in house processes and develop custom tooling for CI/CD.
• Develop deployment automation using DevOps principles.
• Configuration Management for Cloud based infrastructure.
• Cloud Infrastructure security.
• Contribute to the development of the internal development platform.

What you’ll need:

• BS in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud management.
• Configuration Management experience.
• Experience in software development for cloud-based applications and container-based solutions, such as Serverless, and Docker Containers.
• Cloud development experience, including solid experience with AWS and basic knowledge of Azure.
• Experience developing in Go, Javascript/Typescript, or C#.
• Solid experience with front end web development using React.
• Experience in automating software and deployment environments for CI/CD using Jenkins and/or GitHub.
• Experience in configuration management tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS CDK.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AWS Serverless Applications.
• Ability to perform in a team environment with task-oriented focus.
