In my last role, I was responsible for trafficking digital media channels for political campaigns; This includes testing and launching ad creatives and monitoring delivery to perform necessary optimizations and reporting as needed. In this role, I liaise with our creative, political, and data teams, while simultaneously working closely with our media planners to ensure effective delivery of digital media plans and drive the day-to-day execution of digital ad delivery to meet client expectations for our advertiser accounts across platforms.
During my time at this company, I trafficked ads in several programs with goals to mobilize voters and influence the 2020 Presidential, US Senate, Congressional, and State Legislative Elections. These programs had budgets ranging from 200k - 7 million dollars. We launched more than 25,000 ads on 20 different platforms, and across tactics reached 90% of our target audience.
Previously, I worked at a small, local marketing agency, initially as the Digital Media Specialist before being promoted to Digital Media Manager. In this role, I worked collaboratively with our Digital Media Specialist to research, plan, design & implement digital media campaigns aligned with business goals (both in-house and for clients), coordinated the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, press releases, and graphics), established our web presence to boost brand awareness, maintained a strong online company voice through social media and ensuring brand consistency, suggesting/implementing direct marketing methods to increase profitability, and monitoring ROI and KPIs.
