I was born in 1989, in a small mountain community nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains called Lake Tahoe. My childhood was incredible, I spent my youth snowboarding during the winter months and going to the beach and playing soccer during the summer months.
I graduated from High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno with the ambitious goal of getting into law school once my undergraduate degree had been attained.
My law school goals would come up short as I was offered a job with AT&T in their Business Sales Leadership Development program in Spring of 2013. From there, I moved to Atlanta, and trained for 6 months to become a consultative sales person in AT&T's Mid-Market Account Management Group in San Francisco, CA. After I moved to San Francisco, I fell in love with technology, and the notion that I was helping business leaders around the Bay Area accomplish their goals with new and innovative solutions. It became a passion to learn new skills and becoming an industry expert in the tech world was a calling I found easy to answer.
My time at AT&T would conclude at the end of the summer in 2016 as I felt drawn towards the prospect of international travel. At 26 years old, I had only been to Mexico twice and had never really explored the vast world we live in. I quite my job and took a leap of faith, and spent the next three and half months exploring South America.
A surprise opportunity to work for a small tech start-up based in Texas arose also, and I spent my time in South America beginning my career as a Digital Nomad.
