A leader in their industry with over 2,000 employees, they service aglobal customer base with products that impact lives every day.They are currently seeking a highly motivated, and career-mindedBusiness Development Manager in their Northeast region (mustreside in VA, DC, Philly, NY, CT or MA) who will beresponsible for pursuing new business opportunities, supportingapplications across Automotive, Electronics, Aerospace, Defense, Hardware,and Medical. Focused on finding solutions for customers that resolve supplychain challenges, reduce manufacturing costs, simplify assemblies, andoptimize product performance.As a BDM you will oversee all aspects of the sales cycle including butnot limited to: research and development, new lead generation, pursue highpotential prospects, perform fit assessments, engage decision makers acrosscustomer organizations, quote projects, advise DFM considerations, hand-offprojects to plants for manufacturing kick-off. While leveraging tools suchas ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and Salesforce throughout the sales cycle.ResponsibilitiesOwn the assigned prospect accounts and deliver significant sales growththrough winning new opportunities.Effectively establish relationships in new accounts or divisions andquickly understand each account organization to identify the right keystakeholders to regularly engage and sell.Develop strong relationships with these key stakeholders and serve astheir go-to resource for helping them solve complex, precision-engineeredpart solutions in their businesses.Use insight and consultative selling techniques to teach customersabout their industry and offer unique perspectives about their businessthat link back to the clients’ capabilities.Partner with Application Engineering and Plant Engineering toaccelerate new business wins and customer satisfaction.Prepare and drive effective pursuit plans to speed relationshipdevelopment, enhance the quality of the sales pipeline, accelerate dealclosure, and improve the customer buying experience.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Engineering degreehighly preferred)3 – 5 years’ prior industry related business developmentexperienceMust reside in the NE Region (VA, DC, Philly, NY, CT orMA)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProven knowledge and execution of successful developmentstrategiesFocused and goal-oriented, high-level business acumen.
