I’ve been working remotely for over 1 year now.

Having freedom and flexibility to skip the traffic and work from home or from my laptop as I travel the world, has been a life changer for me.

According the the latest study by Zug, I am part of a growing trend, with 70% professionals globally now working remotely at least once a week and 53% working remotely at least half of the week.

And while there is still a perception that remote work is strictly reserved for web developers and computer programmers, the demand for tech-savvy professionals now extends into operational and creative fields with hundreds of remote jobs posted daily.

In just 1 year, thanks to online courses and internships, I developed my skills and found my niche as a Digital Marketer (one of the fastest growing fields in remote work) but the list of options here is immense.

According to the latest data from LinkedIn, with the automation on the way, the tech-savvy professionals with “human-centric” jobs that “require creativity, social skills, caretaking or complex problem solving” will be in high demand.
