"You wear grass skirts and live in a hut, right?" is the question that most peppered my childhood. You might be thinking, "Hmm... So, people thought you were Lilo from 'Lilo & Stitch'?" or at least be curious about it if you're mildly in tune with Disney. The answer, if you were wondering, is no. I was born and raised on the island of O'ahu in Hawai'i. I saw so many people come in and out of the islands that I knew I wanted the freedom to travel like they did while working a job I love. Enter Pangian.
Now let's kick it into high gear a bit and redirect this to my experience thus far.
I'm an experienced content creator with a demonstrated history of working in digital mediums across multiple industries (including tech, publishing, and marketing). I'm a passionate multitasker with graduate-level journalism experience from NYU, and several years of writing (everything from wedding feature articles and customer-facing tech articles, to engaging social media content). I was once told that I could spin a description of a sink unclogging agent into must-read gold. I stand by that to this day.
We all know written content is king (or queen), yes, but employing visuals makes the difference between easy dismissal and immediate engagement.
