Writing and travel were my first passions, quickly followed by an urge to learn as much as I could about history and current affairs. That lead to a 30-year career in journalism in various media and the publication of several books. I have never stopped learning and I always seek to improve my craft, which has earned me several distinguished awards. I have lived on several continents and witnessed historic events where ever I have gone. I am now an editor on The Jakarta Post in Indonesia, but I continue to seek new horizons and meet new challenges.
